Larson Family Funeral Homes New Website

Larson Funeral HomesWebWise Design recently launched a new website for Larson Family Funeral Homes. Troy and Leslie needed a new website. Their website had served its purpose for over a decade.

We worked closely together to develop a more mobile-friendly website, and added search function, so visitors can easily find an obituary.

Their new website features an enhanced view for obituaries, with easy-to-find visitation and service times along with burial services  information.  There is also a map with driving directions to the funeral home.

Website visitors can quickly navigate to personal obituaries, see the memorial service information, and leave private messages for the family. A page listing the local florists is also included on the website. With the new website platform, the staff at Larson's can conveniently make the necessary updates and changes.

The Larson family has been part of the greater Fennimore community for generations and have been clients for many years. Congratulations to Larson Family Funeral Homes on their new website!

Cooks’ Woods New Website

There is nothing like walking through the woods and selecting your own Christmas tree.  Cook's Woods, rural Fennimore, is just the place to go for your Christmas tree. Their team also designs beautiful wreaths and specialty greenery items in addition to making garland for your holiday decorating.

Dave and Barb Cook were ready for a facelift for their website to better highlight their tree farm and the services they provide. We developed their website on a secure, high-performance WordPress hosting platform , added some new features, and kept some of the favorite elements. Dave can quickly give viewers an update on "What's Happening" at the farm, and Barb can coordinate all the wreath orders. Frequently asked questions are answered and a photo gallery gives visitors a preview of what to expect when they visit the farm.

Dave and Barb Cook have been clients since 2008. They have always been tremendous to work with and we are grateful for their continued business. Congratulations on the new website!

WebWise Towns & Villages Websites

WebWise Design & Marketing has been involved in economic development directly and indirectly since our earliest years. WebWise has worked continuously with the City of Fennimore, Wisconsin since 1995 and the City of Boscobel, WI since 1998, developing and maintaining their websites.

WebWise Towns & Villages

We have also worked continuously with Grant County Economic Development Corp. (GCEDC) since 1998 when we created the first grancounty.org website and recently launched the newest version.  We have regularly gone to nearly all of the GCEDC meetings and have had the opportunity to learn and appreciate how dedicated the people on Town Boards (and their staff) in Grant County are.

WebWise has taken what we learned through our working with GCEDC, attending their meetings, and developing and supporting municipalities of Fennimore and Boscobel, and developed ready-to-use websites for Towns & Villages.

  • Professionally Designed & Developed
  • Secure, permission-based Administrative area
  • Easily add/edit/delete Agendas, Minutes, Ordinances, Permits, Licenses, etc.
  • Mobile-Friendly and Device Responsive
  • User-friendly Navigation
  • Website Security via SSL and HTTPS
  • SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is built in
  • ADA and WCAG Accessibility Compliance included with hosting account
  • Notification Bar – Display Emergency Notices When needed

We know what it takes to provide information, agendas, minutes, ordinances, forms, meeting schedules, and notices online making them readily accessible via download to all who request them.

We know saving money on printing & mailing documents is a good thing.

We understand that Town Clerks are busy, so the website administrative area makes it easy to add/edit/delete documents.

We know local government websites must address the issue of website accessibility compliance, so we use accessiBe to mitigate that issue.

If you are on a Town or Village Board or would like the Town or Village Board where you live to have a website that makes life a little better for them and you, ask them to call WebWise Design & Marketing at 608-822-3750 or check out webwisetowns.com.

Grant County Economic Development Corp in Wisconsin – New Website

Grant County, Wisconsin ImageAt WebWise Design & Marketing, we are privileged to work with great organizations and extremely accomplished people. The result of our latest collaboration is a new version of the grantcounty.org website. The new website is mobile-friendly and device responsive. Every visitor has a good experience viewing, navigating, and finding the information they seek.

The Grant County WI website provides a significant amount of economic development information provided by the Grant County Economic Development Corporation, GCEDC, and tourism information provided by the Grant County Tourism Council, with help from University of Wisconsin Extension–Grant County.

The Grant County Economic Development Corporation works with Grant County and its cities, villages, and towns (townships) to promote the growth and retention of business and industry and to enhance the quality of life for Grant County Wisconsin residents. Through the efforts of Ron Brisbois, Executive Director of GCEDC, Darlene Mickleson, Executive Assistant and the support of the Grant County Board of Supervisors, business startups and businesses looking to expand or relocate will find a business-friendly environment along with several sizes and types of community Industrial & Business Parks with robust infrastructures and broadband access. If you are looking to start or relocate a business, start with the GCEDC Site Selector.

Located in the southwest corner of Wisconsin, the Grant County terrain exemplifies the Driftless Area.  With the Mississippi River flowing along the entire western border of Grant County and the Wisconsin River flowing on the entire northern border, outdoor recreation opportunities abound. ATV and Snowmobile trails (maps online) are many and maintained.  The Grant County Tourism Council prepares an annual Activity Guide which highlights local events throughout the year. Visit grantcounty.org/tourism to download a copy.

Visit grantcounty.org and learn more about this corner of Wisconsin and you will see why many of us prefer to live, work, and play in Grant County Wisconsin.
